Story
The sound came again.
Tap… tap… tap…
In the quiet bamboo forest, Sheru the Lion suddenly opened his eyes. He had heard the strange sound while resting near the trees.
“Something is not right,” Sheru said.
Little mouse Chintu climbed onto a rock and listened carefully.
“I hear it too, Sheru. It sounds like someone is asking for help.”
Just then, Milu the little deer came running.
“I heard a voice from the bamboo forest!”
she said. “Someone is in trouble!”
Sheru stood up immediately. “Let’s go. No one should be in trouble in our jungle.”
The friends walked slowly into the bamboo forest. The wind blew, and the bamboo sticks made whispering sounds.
Tap… tap… whisper…
“Help… please help…” a slow voice said again.
They followed the sound and soon found Tinku the turtle, stuck under fallen bamboo sticks.
“Oh no!”
said Chintu.
“He can’t move!”
Sheru tried to move the bamboo, but it was too heavy.
“Raju! We need your help!” shouted Milu.
Soon Raju the elephant arrived and lifted the heavy bamboo with his strong trunk. Bobo the monkey quickly pulled Tinku out.
“You saved me,” said Tinku slowly.
“I was trapped since morning.”
Sheru smiled. “In our jungle, we help each other.”
Chintu stood proudly and said, “Even small friends can help in big adventures!”
Everyone laughed and walked back together as the bamboo trees whispered in the wind.
That day, they all learned something important:
Sometimes a scary sound is just someone who needs help.
And heroes are the ones who go toward the sound, not away from it. 🌿🦁🐭🐢
