🐿️ “The Tale of Munmun and Kittu”
In a beautiful, lush green forest lived two little squirrels—
The mother was named Munmun, and her tiny, adorable, but incredibly mischievous daughter was Kittu.
Munmun was a calm, wise, and loving mother.
But Kittu… oh boy!
She was faster than the wind and more playful than a spark of lightning.
🌳 A Day of Mischief
One day, a monkey named Fantusss was fast asleep on their tree.
Kittu made a face and grumbled,
“Why is this Fantusss sleeping on our tree?”
Munmun explained gently,
“My child, the forest doesn’t belong to just one person. It is a home for everyone.”
But Kittu was too restless for lessons.
She crept up stealthily… and tied Fantusss’s tail to a branch!
A little while later, when Fantusss woke up and tried to move—
“AAAHHHH!”
He began to scream in pain and confusion.
The entire forest gathered around.
Everyone asked, “Who did this?”
Suspicion filled the air…
And soon, every eye turned toward Kittu.
🦁 The Judgment of the Jungle
The King of the Forest, Sheruu the Lion, spoke in a thunderous, angry voice:
“If such a thing happens again, I will banish both of you from this forest forever!”
Munmun’s heart broke.
She felt a deep sense of shame and sadness.
With folded paws, she pleaded with everyone,
“I promise, this will never happen again.”
That night, Munmun sat Kittu down beside her.
“My Little Love, there is a big difference between a joke and a mistake.
Your ‘little bit of fun‘ can cause someone real pain.”
Kittu remained silent… but she didn’t truly take the words to heart.
🖤 A Moment of Separation
A few days later, Munmun had to go outside the forest for some work.
She turned to her neighbor, Koko the Crow, and said,
“Please, keep an eye on my Kittu.”
The moment her mother left, Kittu snuck away and dashed deep into the woods.
Koko searched everywhere for her…
But Kittu was nowhere to be found.
When Munmun returned and realized her daughter was gone—
Her heart began to race with fear.
“MY KITTTUUUU…!”
She cried out, searching frantically behind every bush and tree.
🦅 The Danger Above
Suddenly, Koko and Mitthu the Parrot spotted a shadow—
A strange, terrifying hawk was circling above.
In an instant!
The hawk dove down…
And snatched Kittu up in its sharp talons!
Kittu screamed in pure terror—
“Mummmyyyyyy!”
Munmun’s breath caught in her throat.
Koko and Mitthu bravely took flight, chasing after the hawk.
They flapped their wings and shrieked loudly to distract the predator.
Startled by the commotion, the hawk fumbled…
And it let Kittu go!
Below, the animals of the forest—Sheruu the Lion, Elle the Elephant, and all the others—had quickly spread out a thick layer of soft grass.
Kittu fell, but the grass cushioned her impact. She was safe.
💔 A Mother’s Pain
Munmun came running…
She pulled Kittu into a tight, desperate hug.
Tears streamed down her face, unstoppable.
“My child… if something had happened to you, how would I have lived?”
For the first time, Kittu’s mischievous face was filled with shame and regret.
“Mama… please forgive me. You were all right.
I promise, I will change.”
🌈 A Happy Ending
From that day on, Kittu truly did change.
She was still playful…
But she was wise.
She had learned her lesson:
Mischief is only good as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone. And a mother’s words are always for your own good.
Munmun hugged her tightly once more. And once again, the forest echoed with the sound of happy chirps and laughter.
